What is DartStream?
DartStream is a managed product framework, game backend, and runtime operations surface for teams building in Dart, Flutter, and Flame.
The platform exists so small teams, agencies, indie studios, and enterprise product teams do not have to rebuild the same production foundations for every app or game: authentication, workspaces, projects, roles, billing, entitlements, realtime data, live configuration, telemetry, and operational dashboards.
Product Lane
DartStream has a specific role in the Aortem platform:
-
It is not IntelliToggle. IntelliToggle owns dedicated feature flag workflows; DartStream consumes those workflows as part of broader runtime operations.
-
It is not DartCodeAI. DartCodeAI helps build software; DartStream operates running apps, games, and runtime services.
-
It is not DartCloudFunctions. Serverless deployment belongs to DartCloudFunctions unless connected through a shared Aortem workflow.
-
It is not a generic backend clone. DartStream focuses on managed SaaS lifecycle, realtime runtime services, live operations, templates, dashboards, and vendor orchestration.
Who It Is For
| Audience | How DartStream helps |
|---|---|
Flutter app teams |
Ship SaaS apps, dashboards, companion apps, marketplaces, and internal tools with managed workspace, auth, billing, realtime, and operational patterns. |
Game and live-ops teams |
Build Flame game backends with profiles, cloud save, inventory, live config, telemetry, and remote tuning workflows. |
Agencies and studios |
Reuse backend patterns across client projects while keeping environments, entitlements, audit, and support flows organized. |
Enterprise teams |
Use security review, SLA-backed support, private implementation planning, and custom connector work. |
Platform Pillars
Flutter App Framework
DartStream provides the foundation for workspace-based products: tenants, projects, roles, permissions, notifications, API access, realtime services, and local-to-production conventions.
Game Services and Live-Ops
DartStream is expanding toward Flame-oriented runtime services: player identity, profiles, cloud save, inventory, progression, leaderboards, remote tuning, live events, experiments, seasons, and telemetry.
Runtime Operations
The dashboard gives teams a control surface for entitlements, live config, feature flag coordination, support context, audit history, billing state, and production readiness.
